Our three marinas on the eastern shore of Lake Barkley provide a variety of services for the recreational boater. Spend a relaxing day at Lake Barkley State Park Marina, Moon River Marina or the state’s number five marina, Prizer Point Marina on Hurricane Creek.

And we offer quaint downtown shops, antiques, golf, the Janice Mason Art Museum – all in a great location! Hit the lake, the historic downtown or visit the state’s gem, Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area.

You’ll find campground sites for the nature purist or sites with lavish amenities. Park it for the night (or for the week!) close to the water or back inland. Hike, bike, fish… just enjoy nature.

This is what puts us on the map (literally)! Our region is home to the two the largest lakes in Kentucky, providing a fantastic resource for water sports, recreational boating, and some of the nation’s most famous fishing hot spots! All for a very reasonable price. The water’s nice so c’mon in.

You’ve found us! Welcome to Cadiz and Trigg County, eastern gateway to Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area and home to Lake Barkley State Resort Park. Just 90 minutes from Music City, Nashville, Tennessee, you’ll find Cadiz, Kentucky. You’ll find the perfect combination of rustic escapes and modern indulgences, from backwoods camping to quality hotels and a historic bed-and-breakfast, there’s something here for you and your family.

Relax or play – or do a little of both. Lie on the beach at Lake Barkley, or spend a day on the lake – boating, jet-skiing, or fishing. (We’ve got some of the best catfish and crappie fishing in the entire United States!) Go hunting for whatever’s in-season, or spend an afternoon on one of our two, 18-hole golf courses. Explore the local forests on our hiking and mountain biking trails and catch a glimpse of the local wildlife.

Or take a stroll down historic Main Street. Lined with old-fashioned street lamps and quaint buildings, it’s a little like stepping back in time.
